I'm not sure if the Wordpress guys will read this. If they don't, it's gonna be quite a useless posting. But in the hopes they will, let me go ahead.
I just want to know how long it'll take until IntenseDebate, which was acquired by Automattic a few months back, is more tightly integrated with WordPress.
I love the comment system, but it's seriously bugged. I mean SERIOUSLY. My trackbacks, for example, do not show anywhere I know about. The service keeps logging me out when I try to comment on my own blog (I have to refresh the page and login again, after, of course, ctrl+c'ing my comment so I won't lose it in the process).
And their support guys, while really attentious and very nice people, are quite slow, if not altogether incapable, of resolving anything more complicated -- that's why I'm posting this here and not there.
Since WP bought ID, I'm assuming sooner or later it will be tightly integrated with the blogging system, probably even becoming the default comment interface. That's the reason I'm sticking to it despite the bugs.
I just wanted to know how soon -- or late -- that's going to happen. Thanks!
