   i've seen several variations.

   Mine looks like this when I click trackback. Is this proper? Whats going on?

   I posted this yesterday. Maybe no one saw it with all the post going on. but what is a proper trackback url suppose to look like? Mine does not look right?

   no, that is not proper, and my trackbacks aren't working, either--when I click on "trackback this post," it doesn't give users a URI to trackback to. What is going on??????

   Hover over the trackback link.

   It's not meant to be clicked on. If that happens, then it redirects to the permalink. However, when writing a post and copying that trackback link, it'll ping the post as a trackback.

   I hope that made sense, because I'm not sure if I explained it correctly. :)

   You want users to be able to trackback your posts, right? And that's not working. The same thing is happening to me--on my blog, the "trackback this post" link leads to the permalink page.

   My trackback links look like this http://ofog.net/blog/archives/2005/02/24/34/trackback/ incoming trackbacks seems to work for me, but not not outgoing.

   yeah, i tried what it said on the other thread to do, I added it to my comments and it didnt turn out right either.
