I just installed this plugin on version 2.7.1
I entered everything correctly without '-' I tried both 10 and 10 number ISBN but it didn't recognize either in the book I'm reading. I did enter the number on Amazon.ca and it found the right book so the number is correct.
So, it's not working for me.

Hi folks,
sorry for that. The plugin is using german Amazon Web Service and I don´t think that there will be the books of other countries. I´ll implement a new feature for choosing the Amazon market place during the next days. I hope the AWS is the same for all countries.
I didn´t mention this until now, ´cause there were no testers from other countries and it was impossible to think of everything :-)
I´ll update the plugin and the description as fast as possible.

Okay, I got it and will code it rihgt now. It will take a moment to do this and there will be a new release soon. - Stay tuned.

Ok...after a little more work, I discovered that the plug-in does not update right when using the update automatically from the plug-in page. Download the new version and deactivate the old one. Once you reactivate it should work fine.

I think a good feature to add to this plugin would be a history of books you have read. Maybe a page just for them.

There will be a database update funtion in the next release. I didn´t have the time to do this ´cause I was on a trip to Wordcamp 2009 in Jena. Sorry, there´s no chance of doing impossible things :-)
Normally the automatic updater of wordpress deactivates and activates a plugin by itself ... I´ll check that again.
Features for history may come one day, but they won´t be big things, ´cause there is a really good plugin called "Now reading" which does a lot more than this one. It is my goal to have a small plugin and not, as the other one is, a big application. The other plugin is available at http://robm.me.uk/projects/plugins/wordpress/now-reading
