Hello! I am trying to upload a large video file to my website to make it available for download. I have tried using the media uploader with WP but it is only allowing me to upload 8mb at a time. I have also uploaded the file to the media folder with the FTP provided by my host, but it does not appear in the WP library. Any ideas? Thanks!

Once uploaded by FTP, then when you add media when writing a post, just use the 'From URL' tab.
Too bad the Add Media doesn't allow you to point to an existing file...
