    Anyone out there brave enough to help someone out who has no idea what they are doing or did? I tried to update wp, and really didn’t understand the instructions, and somehow deleted my site. Can anyone help? Is there anyway to get my site back, or did a year of my life just get deleted?

    I don’t think I will upgrade based on what just what happened to you. I kept seeing the UPGRADE to Version 2.7.1 and started reading how to do this and just read what you just said, and I guess it isn’t a snap to upgrade. They really need to make this easier, since I find the instructions rather confusing too. Hope you find someone who can help.

    It’s unlikely you deleted the site. Posts and comments and such are stored in the database. Can you access the database via phpMyAdmin?
