Hello. Does anyone know if you can set the blog up so that visitors do not need to log in separately to the blog if they've already signed into the members' section of the site?
ie - if the user visits http://www.domain.com and signs in, then visits the blog at http://www.domain.com/wordpress, can their username from domain.com cross over?

Sorry this is quite an important function for me. I don't want to visitors to feel like they are logging in twice when they want to comment on the blog. Is there anyone who can help? Thanks ^^
I'm trying to do the exact opposite - we already require a WP login - now we want a member only area - why re-invent that wheel.
In either case, there doesn't seem to be much info out there. I'm still digging myself
joe - this doesn't answer your question - does mine - but it might possibly help you ferret out your solution. I post it here for others after us.
