Actually im using 2.7
So when i go to add a post i only get the top row of tinymce editor button links, i get a breif flash of the others below it then the dissapear and i have reduced options for editing text etc.
In other words i only get the top row of editor buttons and the 2nd row shows then is removed instantly.
Any ideas why this is happening?

hmmm turned all my plug ins off and nothing changed. this is all hosted locally using MAMP

aw blimey just realised its the show hide option, phew at least its simple, case closed

I created user with administrator rights and cant see all the buttons in editor from new user account. Shift+alt+v? it is collapses view window in firefox. am i missing something?
