    The best way to exclude categories, is dont add them.

    Many people tell you to replace your pages html code / php code . with
    some categories code.

    Instead there is another site out there, that shows you how exactly to add particular categories to your pages with out any hassle

    very simple stuff!

    That’s great and all, but that’s not what this plugin does. This plugin excludes posts from certain categories from The Loop on the front page. you can modify your theme by hand, but then what happens when an update to the theme comes out? I guess you’ll have to maintain your own branch of the theme code.

    Looking for a way to exclude categories from the front page loop BUT list them in a sidebar! This plugin removes the posts from the main blag and from a sidebar widget that lists Excerpts from specific categories. Any thoughts?
