View Site Link is WHERE?

“From the Administration Panel, from the top of the screen menu choose View Site.”

So say the “first steps” documentation. Problem is, I can’t FIND that link. There is a link to “visit site” which goes to my own home page of my website (makes sense). But nothing about “View Site” Where is it, and what does it do. I don’t even know if I’m on the administrator’s panel or not. Says “Dashboard.”

As suggested, I’m trying to take this one step at a time -and here I am stuck on the first paragraph already. I appreciate any help.
