Changing User Role Names

    I was wondering how I can change the user role names
    Administrator: Admin
    Editor: Head Moderator
    Author: Assistant Head Moderator
    Contributor: Moderator
    Subscriber: User

    Can anybody help me?

    The Role Manager Plugin listed in the Resources section of Roles and Capabilities that would come close to allowing something like that.

    Hi,

    You can change the role of users from the users -> Authors & users in admin section of your blog.

    Hello,
    I noticed this wasn’t resolved. I am looking to do the same thing and the documentation link doesn’t offer any help on this. I need to change the language of the user role names such as:

    administrator = boss
    subscriber = newbie
    and so on.

    Can you tell me the file to access to make these changes?

    Your help is greatly appreciated.
