Are you talking about a Contact Me page? You can make these from WordPress’s v1.5 new feature for individual Pages. The form itself can be modeled from any of the many free form templates out on the net that will help you do this. Search for “email form” or “contact email me form”, something like that and you will find form examples.
Actually there’s a great plugin to do this…
http://ryanduff.net/wp-plugins/wp-contactform/
Works like a charm!
I installed it, but i don’t get it where I can get a quicktag…
“To insert a contact form, click the “Contact Formâ€? quicktag and it will insert the code for your contact form. View your page and try it out!”
Where is it located?!
I know how can I add it to a post but I want it on a different page, like http://myadress.com/contact.php
MtDewVirus, that’s too cool! I was looking for something like that.
Can you tell me if it’s secure, meaning that no e-mail harvesters can grab addresses?
despacho,
You can use it in WordPress “pages” or posts.
davincim,
The address is kept in PHP, so it’s nowhere to be found on the page.
Thanks MtDewVirus, little by little I get closer to upgrading to 1.5.
but i don’t really like pages+in this situation I really can’t use it. I have about 10 pages, and I really don’t have an index.php. I don’t use it 😉
I don’t even have a blog(well, on one adress i have it), but i have a page, where no blog is present, so I really need to put the code in some kind of place..
What do you mean? There aren’t any other options in WP besides pages or posts. This plugin works in either place.
