    Hi All,

I am unsure if I am doing something wrong, but when I am in the test mode, I am able to add products to my basket, checkout, and go to paypal with good results. However, when I am using the eShop plugin in live mode, I am able to add to my basket, checkout, and go to paypal, but the shipping cost is not carried with it. For example, if I am selling a product for $5 and shipping at $4, when I checkout and get sent to paypal in live mode, it only has the price at $5??

Any helpful advice would be great.

You can view my cart here:

    Thanks for any advice,
    Edd

I'll do some testing for this, the latest fixes may have caused a problem with the shipping.

    I can't replicate this problem.

Can you check that you the eShop settings page, have you got any Discounts set up?

Check the product - have you specified the shipping rate?

Check the shipping rates page, is it set up correctly?

I do not have any discounts set up.

The shipping rate page rates shows up correctly.

I have specified shipping for every product.

It shows up correctly in the shopping cart with the shipping and even shows up correctly when adding additional items to the shipping, but when being redirected to Paypal, the shipping cost does not follow.

Do you think I should uninstall and re-install? It won't be too much work for me since I have not went too far with the script yet.

you could try doing that, yes.

I'm really at a loss as to why this is happening - have you got any other plugins installed that might be causing a conflict?

After you've tried re-uploading the plugin, if things still don't work, the only thing I could suggest is allowing me temporary access to WP to see if I can find where the error is occurring.

feel free to email via elfin@elfden.co.uk

Uninstalled everything and re-installed with no joy. I will shoot you an email with my ftp info.

    Thanks,

A suggestion, unless it is already thought of, and my copy is just not working correctly. Anyway, my suggestion is that in the next version, the cart should doublecheck the quantity to make sure that it is available. I have only listed a quantity of 1 with my games on my website, but the shopping cart allows visitors to add more than 1 for quantity in the cart even if only 1 is listed as being in stock. Maybe, the cart should check the quantity and return some message stating that there is only 1 in stock when the visitor attempts to add 2 as the quantity in the cart. I don't know, maybe it's already supposed to do that and mine just isn't doing it?

Anyhoo, let me know what you figure out Elfin.

    Thanks,
    Jay

Stock control was always very limited, but I'll look at trying to add the necessary checks when in the cart, thanks for the suggestion!

    elfin,

I know you get this alot, but you are a Genius!!

There was a default shipping setup in Paypal and once I
deleted that, the shipping price began to carry over to
Paypal when I checked out with my cart.

    Thanks Again,
    Jay
