Blog post images

Im having an issue. When I use the upload an image through WP for blog posts, if I put the image code at the end of my blog post(as in there is all my text then the image) Then it invades into the post under it.
if I view it in single post view.. it goes to the side of my comment stuff. Why would it do this? if I put it at the top it does not do this.
