• What file do I need to edit to change my header? I want to keep the default theme and switch in my own header graphic. Index.php just references other files, and I can’t find the reference in the style sheet. Where does that header graphic get called from?

  • If you’re using 1.5, it should be in the header template.

I really hate to be so dense, but I can’t find a darn thing in wp-blog-header.php

You understand what I’m getting at though, right? Instead of using the name of the blog across the blue .JPG file at the top, I just want my own image.

Just to add to Dave’s reply: if using a theme, it’s typically in header.php in that theme’s directory (wp-content/themes/THEME). That’s the header template he refers to.

Oh well that might have to do with the css. There might be a ID or class that says to put a background in there so look thru the style.css for your theme your using…..

-Thanks moose. I remember you from back in the 1.2 days. This is a new handle, and I haven’t been here for a while. Thanks for the kind reminder though. 🙂
