Changing Theme Graphics/Headers?

    Hello-

    I am a new user of WordPress, and am trying to customize some themes with some graphics of my own to use as page headers, etc.

    Is there an easy way to swap existing theme graphics with my own, and have them format properly? I have no knowledge, whatsoever of php, and only a VERY tiny bit of html… Is there any sort of command or assistant in the Dashboard or similar that will allow me to do this easily? Any help is greatly appreciated.
