I just recently installed wordpress 2.7 to a new site. I accidentally deleted all the files off the ftp. I then reinstalled them and all the settings were remembered and everything worked fine. This little mishap happened in the first five minutes. I have been doing my work in Chrome. However I changed over to work in IE. I copied the link from the admin page and it let me log in fine and see the console. When I go to view the site though, black. I show source and I get a lot of code, I can paste in if needed. I just have no clue. I’ve tried it in Chrome, Safari, Opera, Firefox and IE and IE is the only one with a problem! Any help would be much appreciated.

Also, I use a php redirect page that works in IE for two other sites I’ve done as well.

  • What theme are you using? IE is notorious for conflicting with the same css, html, and js that other browsers show no problem. Check your theme, change to default theme and see if that helps your problem. If other themes work, then it’s the theme you’re using right now.

I did change to default. Didn’t help.

However I got it fixed. It was a plug-in issue. Apparently you can’t run Lightview JS and Lightbox 2 together. Thanks!
