It would be nice to have a button where a div can be inserted around selected text, and various stylings (such as a border or padding) can be applied to the div using a popup dialog, similar to what can be done for tables.

Using P tags to style text usually works a lot better than using generic DIV tags and any CSS styles can be added to them by using the Style popup.

Posted 2 months ago #That may apply in some cases, but not others. Sometimes generic DIVs are what are called for.
