[Plugin: ZD YouTube FLV Player] Auto play? or one of those overlay big play buttons? :)

    Hi!

    I love your little player 🙂

    but all the flvs I have are not set to auto play
    can this be done by adding something in here…

    [zdvideo border=”yes” width=”640″ height=”384″ theme=”dark” align=”right” fullscreen=”yes”]

    I tried autoplay=”true” but didn’t work is there any way.

    And if not, how would go about making an overlay big play/pause button like you see on many players

    Hi,

    Initially I developed this plugin for my own website, where I didn’t wanted the videos to auto-play. So, I kept is off by default and there is no option to put it on.

    Later few of my friends asked me to put this plugin on wordpress plugin directory and check the response. I never expected the in 2-3 month more than 500 people will download this plugin.

    I got many feature suggestions from many people here and among my friends. I’m getting enough time to complete these features. Now I scheduled to implement following feature and release the new version by end of this month.

    Some Bug fixes and optimization
    Logo overlay
    Play/Pause button overlay
    Custom Skin colors
    Admin Panel page

    hehe 🙂 yay! great to hear your plugin did so well and can’t wait for the new features…

    I am not a big fan of auto play either, but since there was no big play button, the friend I am making a site for thought..autoplay…

    but yay overlays! hehe

    will keep an eye out for the update..
