   This has been reported here a fair number of times, and I cannot find either an opinion or a solution.

   In earlier versions, if you used popup comments, after a user posted a comment the popup reloaded but with just the comments / comment form in there.

   At some point in 1.2 (?) this changed and when someone posts comment into the popup, the full page (essentially an archive views) reloads into the popup.

   So.......

   (1) Was this change intentional
   (2) Whatever the answer to (1), how can we make this change go away in 1.2.x and 1.5

   Are you using a custom theme or one of the included ones?

   Me ? I don't use popups :)

   I think the template is custom ....

   Neither do I: hate the damn things :)

   There's been a change in how popups are handled. The inlcuded themes do them right. Look to them for examples.

   Not done it myself, but I think the idea is to get rid of the include to wp-blog-header.php

   alphaoide - I don't think so. Podz' issue as I understand it:

   What happens: Popup window contains the_content and comments
   What is desired: Popup window only contains comments.

   (Well, technically, I don't know if the solution works, but it seems to be the same problem).

   I hope it's not the same issue; otherwise, someone will kill me for never reporting it to mosquito. :(
