I tested including a page within another page. It worked, but it pulled more than just the page's content in. It also pulled in the ShareThis link that I show placed at the bottom of every page/post. I was expecting that only the content of the page be pulled in. Is there a way to workaround this?

IIP applies all content filters when including a page/post content. A quick workaround could be remove the filter and re-attach it before returning.
I'm doing this on a few filters that give problems.
