• The instructional video tells me to open the Plug-Ins section and insert my API key to activate the Akismet plugin. However, the page that opens when I log in does not offer access to plug-ins at all, and when I click the only link in that vicinity I am told I have insufficiwnt permissions to view. I have 2 sites and get the same results on both. So I am obviously pretty clueless. Got any clues to offer?

    That made me laugh!

Try clearing your browser cache and cookies. If your are logging in as the ‘admin’ user, and since you are using 2.5.1, Plugins should be on the upper right in your admin screen.

I know it’s ridiculous, but the word “plug-ins” does not appear on the screen. When I click SiteAdmin I am taken to a Dashboard screen that contains the above. I must conclude that I am set to autolog into the Admin page with my owner name rather than as username Admin, but IF that is the problem I don’t see any way to back up and try again…
