    I’ve been holding out on releasing version 2.0 of my WordPress Email Notification Plugin until WordPress 1.5 came out so I can use the new API hooks.

    I won’t go into the details now, but will say there are some cool new features and it’s more user friendly.

    If you’re running WP 1.5 already and are interested in testing the plugin before the final release, please let me know. I’ll hopefully be ready for people to test it within a few days.

    I’d be interested to know if you’re modding it to allow daily or weekly batching, rather than at the moment of posting? And, it’d then run as a cron job (or repeated cron jobs) to manage mailings out to the userbase. Standard subscription system, if you know what I mean. I’ve been looking for that, haven’t seen anyone do it yet.
