   WPFolio is built for visual artists of all kinds who want to foreground their portfolio and easily keep people updated on their practice.

   WPFolio is designed to:

   • put your images forward
   • be easy to navigate
   • be easy to update and maintain
   • allow customization of fonts and colors within the theme options

   The theme was built by Patrick Carey, Jeff Crouse, and Steve Lambert at the Eyebeam OpenLab and we've documented the theme in depth on the Eyebeam site.

   Please follow the instructions closely, as the theme is specialized and set up involves a few more steps than most WordPress themes. We've tried to write the documentation in as simple language as possible.

   I’ve created a page called “Blog”

   I’ve created a category called “Blog”

   For this: Settings > Reading > Front page displays: Posts page:

   I’ve set “Blog” as the page to post to.

   I’ve tried adding widgets to the “sidebar” but they don’t show up on the 2 test posts I’ve done.

   How can I have the blog pages have the post on the left and widgets on the right?

   Also, I’d like to have the “posted by” + date etc. before each post, but I can locate the php file where this would be configured.

   Thanks for any assistance!

   I love the theme, btw.

   hyperarts,

   So you want some navigation and other info in a right hand column on the blog? WPFolio isn't set up to do that, so you would have to do some coding.

   As far as the "posted by" info, you could change one of the template files - I think the category file:
