I had some styling issues on the poll, and after trying to fix them through the template, I decided to just do a fresh install and start again.

When I tried to uninstall the plugin, from the "Plugins" menu in WP I got this error

"Plugin could not be deleted due to an error: Could not fully remove the plugin(s) wp-polls/wp-polls-widget.php"

But it looked like they were both gone, So I reinstalled, and activated both.

But now when I got to the widgets menu, the Polls widget is listed, but theres no Add link on it. I just tried to delete again and got the same error.

You should uninstall using WP-Polls uninstall feature. Wp-admin -> Polls -> uninstall polls

After that use your FTP to delete away the wp-polls folder. After deleting the folder visit wp-admin to configure your widgets and click save changes.

    then upload wp-polls folder again

That fixed it. I actually re uploaded it via FTP (because even with the error, it still deleted) and then uninstalled it through your steps. Just to make sure everything was properly uninstalled...

Re uploaded through ftp, activated... everything works great now.

    Thanks!
