   I don't want anyone elses designs. I want a blank template to put my own images with logo on my header and I want to be able to display large images. I am a photographer...I don't use words to express,,,I use images. How can I set that up. Is there a 'theme' out there like that...is it something I can purchase? If I could get it all...a slideshow attachment would be nice

   gallery2- google it. they have themes much like WP, and in the end it sounds like it may suite your purposes better with image tags such as f-stop, aperture, exposure, and a handful of other terms I don't understand. :-)

   There are a number of themes built for photographers. Just search the web for "wordpress photoblog themes" or something similar.

   If you're not set on Wordpress, Zenphoto might also be something to look into.
