   I am trying to display the result of a custom query. Unfortunately I can't find anything on assigning php variables using the 'wpdb->table.field' format. I keep running into errors.

   Does anyone know how to do this or know where to find documentation for this?

   wpdb, query_posts(), get_posts(), and get_pages explain various ways to get infomation out of the database.
