Multiserver Architecture

Hello all –

We are planning to add a WordPress blog to our existing site, which we load balance across multiple webservers and db servers.

I have worked out that using HyperDB will allow us to use multiple db servers (masters and slaves). But I’m unsure about installing WordPress on multiple webservers.

Will installing the WordPress code on multiple webservers mean that uploads will be broken? ie. The load balancer connects the browser to server1 and we upload an image to a post. But then a user visits server2 and the image cannot be found.

I hope I explained that clearly. Can anyone advise on what our setup?
