2.3.1 editor still strips out paragraph breaks

    I was really hoping that 2.3.1 would fix the problem of no paragraph breaks. I use the Visual Editor and enter paragraph breaks in my writing, but once I save the text, all paragraph breaks are gone and it’s just one big glob of text.

    This occurs whether I use Safari or Firefox, under both OS X 10.4 and 10.5

    i know in tinymce everything has to be inside a paragraph block to work.

    even though that doesn’t work all the time. FCKEditor plugin works perfectly. not sure how it works with plugins that add editing icons.

    i use tinymce advanced from http://www.laptoptips.ca/ – I add the html button so I can manually adjust anything that happens. a workaround until wordpress gets its act together with the editor.

    Try Windows Live Writer. It connects right to your admin so you just blog and post. It is free and seems to be ok.

    Same problem here. On both IE and Firefox.

    It happens on any of my 5 WordPress sites, all using different themes.

    This is still happening on the latest 2.5 version, can anyone else confirm it?
