If this needs to move please oblige.

I don't want any kind of integration. I just want to wrap (hopefully) a simple machine forum (smf) on one of my wordpress pages. So, that it has the same header navigation and background image.

Is this possible? I can't find any info on it. Thankyou so much!

You would need to customize your forum's theme to include the header/background of your current site.

Do you guys have any leads on how to do that? I'm not too familiar with coding. The background seems pretty easy - I've seen some inst. on that. But can I just point add the "require header" tag above the info in the forum theme template and somehow point over to the wordpress theme folder?

Any help or direction you could offer would be most helpful.

As @joebrooksie suggested, it looks like the site you linked to has themed the vbulletin forum to look like their blog...it's not wrapped in the blog theme.

You could try an iframe, but that can be a little problematic.

If you are not married to the idea of using SMF, then I would suggest looking at the simplepress forum plugin...it's easy to install and is very powerful.
