   I added some things to my sidebar and now my categories and links disappeared. What did I do wrong?

   I thought I remember a twitter type plugin causing this. Disable plugins one-by-one till you find the culprit.

   Whoa. Ok.

   1. Always work on a copy and keep a working version backed up
   2. Turn off all your plugins
   3. You have a lot of stuff going on in your sidebar...try removing some of that iTunes and Facebook stuff and see if your sidebar comes back to life.
   4. It looks like you're using the default wordpress theme so...I'd download it again and replace the sidebar.php file if you want to start over

   I still can't get beyond the downloading the sidebar.php part. It's probably obvious to you but not to me. I will learn from this lesson to save my code before I start playing with it again. I just like to write...not so good at the technology aspect but I guess I'll learn eventually.
