I have just upgraded WP to 2.7. So while I was doing that I also upgraded the NextGen plugin.

Which all went smoothly. When I went back to my site all the images were gone. I figured out it was because the new nextgen gallery uses a different folder name. So I re-named it the same as it was before. All the images came back, but now I can not ‘create’ a new gallery in the NextGen admin. It simply wont save.

So now I dont know what to do! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I went back and re-installed the plugin just in case there was an error in the ftp upload. And didnt change any of the folder names.

It is still not letting me add a gallery. The gallery (folder) is actually added in the images folder (checked via ftp) but nextgen is not recording it or giving it a gallery ID. (so its not on the gallery list)

    Help!

[Plugin: NextGEN Gallery] Galleries not Created:

I have to tackle this problem today for two of my WP sites that have been moved. After the move and complete restore, NextGen seems to function in all aspects except to display new galleries.

I can click the add gallery button and the page refreshes. Via FTP, I see the folder created but NextGen does not recognize the new gallery.

Previous advice is to uninstall/re-install NG plugin. Yikes. Any proven advice will be helpful.
