I am currently using 2.7.
First of all I got the problem of a blank screen when going to wp-admin. It seems that wp-login.php has been corrupted somehow. I reuploaded it and I had the ability to login.
When using my own admin user and password I get an empty screen with in the middle: You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.
I double checked via phpMyAdmin if the hash was indeed referring to the pass used. And it was!
I looked it up in google and saw tons of results and solutions. I searched with: Wordpress 2.7: You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.
The first 2 pages I looked over and it won't work. I reuploaded all wp files except the wp-content folder. After that didn't work I deleted everything and uploaded a clean install. The problem still persists. In the database everything seems to be ok also. I got user level 10. When trying to go to the upgrade page it states a upgrage isn't needed.
Is there a proper solution for this problem around here? I hope to get response soon, I really need to edit the pages fast.
