   I recently got the "Contact Form 7" plugin working on my site, and I was wanting to know if there was a way to capture the IP of the sender in the email sent?

   Is this even possible for it to show the IP address of the person who sent the form?

   Looking for the same solution. Want to show the IP in the message from where the message was posted.

   Thanks takayukister! You're the king :) Can you tell us some more tips on what we can insert in that form? Can we catch host names as well?

   I wrote a post about adding IP addresses into CF7, as well as date, time, source page etc. I provided a solution to adding the IP address to CF7 v 1.9.3 back in the day.
