• Hi, I have a site (pinhole.org) that is a gallery of pinhole photography. The site has been around since 1996 and has recently been ported to WordPress.

I chose NextGen as the gallery based on the features and how closely it’s features matched the old gallery in the pinhole.org site.

I manage 516 galleries and 3188 images at present. This represents current demands on wordpress and the NextGen gallery, these numbers grow constantly.

So, to the point. I”m looking for a better way to manage these vast numbers of galleries. There is 1 gallery per artist. There is a main album as well as a recently added album and a featured artist album.

With 516 artists/galleries and counting I’m most concerned with how long it can take to render some of the interfaces in the app. and was wondering if there might be an opportunity to make a test only render of the list of galleries to reduce load times.

Or, perhaps some ideas as to how I can more effectively manage 516 galleries and counting.

    b/.
