   Hi,

   I realize that WP now has a built-in plugin install and update feature, however that has various ftp issues and I find myself still using the plugin.

   Will it be kept updated?

   I still use this plugin to install themes. I still think it has legs for 2.7 although a rename to Theme Installer may be in order.

   It still has a lot of legs because, for some strange reason, with 2.7 you cannot install a plugin based on just a URL.

   Yeah, that's one of the reasons I'm sticking to it.
