I am trying to reset a wordpress website for a friend and they have told me that all the have done is insert an image in the background and now the site cannot be accessed. Here is a link to the site here. I am able to access the site through /wp-admin but when I look for any post that might be affectin the site there is nothing there. The website is being hosted by BlueHost and some of the administration can be done through the cpanel they provide. Is there a way I can reset the whole site because nothing important has been saved there yet.

  • Try changing to the WordPress Default theme and deactivating ALL plugins.

If you really want to get rid of everything you could DROP all the tables in your database via phpMyAdmin and then visit http://mixitme.tv/wp-admin/install.php to do a fresh installation.

Thanks for the help. I have just re-installed WP but the error is still there so I think I need to point the webserver to the the default doc. I tried pointing it to the index.php but thats not working. I would appreciate if you could help me with location of the default home page.

If you have index.html file in your web-root folder, rename it to welcome.html or delete it.
