   I am moving sites to a new server and when I exported the db and imported on the new server, about 600 posts got lost. I can see revisions for the posts in the db itself on the new server but the actual post seems to have disappeared.

   Any thoughts on how or why?

   do you try searching for the posts in the sql file you exported for your backup?
