wp-ecommerce weight based shipping

    I am using wp-ecommerce latest version (3.6.8 RC5) and having trouble getting weight based shipping to work. Have had a few requests on the forums over there since RC3, but have not gotten a response.

    Problems is that customers are charged the highest shipping rate no matter what the product weight is. For example, product weighs 14 oz., shipping for up to 2 lbs. is $2.00. Highest shipping rate listed is $30.00 for 10+ lbs. Everyone is charged $30.00.

    Has anyone gotten this feature to work correctly? Any help is appreciated. Using WordPress 2.7. Thanks.

    In the advert it for the cart plug in, stated that there was weight based shipping; this is my absolute cart requirement.
    So I purchased all the gold bells and whistles. Only to find out after purchasing and trying to set up the cart….that the weight based shipping is buggy or does not work.

    In my world this is deceptive, if not by commission, even worse by omission. I expected higher than vacuum cleaner sales tactics in the WP fraternity.
    Give me a reason to not demand my money back……
