after updating to 2.7 i activated old simple tags 1.57 which caused a problem. i discovered afterwards simple tags 1.61. i also restored my db prior to updating 2.7.
here is the new problem that won't go away that has affected my "categories"...
1) in admin, categories look and behave ok
2) on page templates where no categories are excluded everything looks good
3) on page templates, before the upgrade, when i exclude a parent the children are not visible which is good
4) now, if i exclude the parent, all the kids are displayed. i can exclude all the kids i don't want to see on template pages (50+) but is there a better way?
any suggestions on where to look?
