  • Folks,

    I just upgraded from 1.2.2 to 1.5.
To preserve my template, I transformed it into a theme. I created a “myblog” folder inside the themes, and put my template files there. It worked great. However, comments are broken. When accessing comments through the blog (which would call comments.php), it says:
“Please do not load this page directly. Thanks!”, pointing to the wp-comments.php (I have made a copy of it and placed on the theme folder, and called it comments.php)

The pop up is even worse: moving it from the main directory to that theme folder and renaming it made me also copy wp-config.php, wp-settings.php and wp-db.php to the theme folder!

bottom line: where should I change it so it could use my old comments files? Or how can I move them smoothly, and they still call the right config, settings and db files?

    Cheers,

    Francis
