It's just insane attempting to get support in the forums. From time to time, a nugget of useful information will appear, but for the most part, one has to Google their error codes in order to find an obscure blog that reported the same codes.
Anyhow, I think it would be nice if there was a feature (enabled/disabled) that would send error reports to Wordpress about installation errors, bugs, performance issues, etc. -- all automatically ... I guess similar to how there is the option to send error reports to FireFox and Windows when crap happens.

Difference being that Microsoft and Mozilla have paid employees. Alas, nobody is paid to be here in the support forums. This is all volunteer driven.
Now, who would catch and read these error reports -- and who will pay for them? ;-)

I hear the government is handing out billions of dollars to anyone who asks, so maybe now's the time...

If money is an issue, then make use of Adsense. With the kind of traffic this site gets, you'd be raking in the money.
