To be honest, I don’t have a good grasp on all of the Rating plugins out there, so I can’t give a good assessment of which would be good for you.
I mainly just wanted let you know the rating plugin I use as a point of reference as you’re doing your research.
I use GD Star Rating, which has an enormous number of options, and allows multiple types of rating per post (if you turn that function on).
I also like it because it provides a widget that lets you list rated posts/pages AND restrict by category. So, for example, if you had a category “Horror,” and wanted to list in your sidebar the 10 most highly-rated posts (films) in that category, you could do so.
