Downgrade from 2.7 to 2.6.x?

    Downgrade path? Restore your file and database backup to the way it was before you upgraded.

    You do backup your stuff, right…?

    If not then try backing up NOW http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Backups

    Install 2.6.5 on top of your 2.7 and cross your fingers. If it blows up in spectacular and glorious fashion, the restore the backup of your files and database back to 2.7.

    DO NOT TRY THIS UNLESS YOU ARE SURE THAT YOU CAN PUT BACK YOUR FILE AND DATABASE BACKUP VIA A RESTORE.

    Too late. I decided to start all over. Installed a fresh new install of 2.7. Uploaded my custom theme, plugins, got my visuals back. I thought with all the effort by so many dedicated programmers, I’d better give it one last ‘college try’ before I quit.

    Now….where’s my backup disk?
