  • Assuming you’ve uploaded all files correctly, then might try adding this to your .htaccess file:

    <IfModule mod_security.c>
    SecFilterEngine Off
    SecFilterScanPOST Off
    </IfModule>

    Thankyou for the reply.

    I am sorry to say that I have no idea what the .htaccess file is. I understand it is something to do with an apache server?

    Thankyou

    I am having the same problem. The front-end of my site appears to be fine but when I try to access the the admin panel via mydomainname.com/wp-admin/login.php this error is thrown:

    Not Found

    The requested URL /wp-admin/login.php was not found on this server.
    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    i added the code MichaelH provided above, but still no joy.

    hopefully i can get this sorted very soon, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I think I am having the same problem. Evidently I changed something and now I can only see the front page but no changes have been made that I selected. I have no access to any admin page. What can I do to get back to the admin page and fix the problem? By the way, what is the problem?

    I am desperately lost. The is the front page blog.totalrecognitiongroup.com

    I solved my problem by reinstalling wordpress. Not a pretty option, but it actually didn’t take too long.
