   I would like to display some of my custom fields on the archive page instead of the whole post. What I would only like show is the title and my custom field named "city". Is it possible? I tried to access the field the same way I do inside of a post, with get_post_meta(), but it doesn't work for me.

   never mind, I figured it out

   get_post_meta(); does work
