Running ultra slow

    Hi all

    I was wondering if anyone could shead some light – I am currently attempting to rebuild the website for the school I work at, turning it into a WordPress CMS.

    However, the system is running extremly slow (http://springwoshs.eq.edu.au/wordpress). I have used other scripts with an SQL backend that works fine so I am assuming it’s not due to the server (although shared with other schools).

    Any suggestions – oh and no, im not running any plugins!

    I just get “Waiting for springwoshs.eq.edu.au…” in my status bar and the site is very slow to respond (I gave up loading it because it took so long), which does seem like a server-related problem.
