Document Management Plugin?

I have just designed a website for a charity my Mum runs. She has asked to be able to publish various documentation on their website. The woman can barely send an e-mail, and can only update her site using a step by step dummies guide I have written for her so I’m not too keen on giving her FTP access for fear of having files go missing!

I have been looking at other DMS solutions, but none seem to fit the bill. Is there one out there that will allow her just to upload documents and have the links displayed on a page for example?

Any other ideas or solutions would be gratefully recommended!
