   Yesterday GoDaddy moved my wordpress from a windows server to a linux server. Now I cannot upload images from my wordpress software. Yes, it's set to writable.

   I am using 2.6.5 and the url is http://mountainsageblog.com

   Anybody know how to fix this?

   sounds like a permission problem try chmod 777 ... did that help ?

   No...the permissions are set to writable. It's not a permission problem.

   With your FTP program, go to your upload directory and select it, then choose file permission (CHMOD) you should be able to enter 777 as permissions for your upload directory.

   In that case i suggest you contact your hosting support then ...

   I'm talking about uploading a photo directly into a post in the Wordpress write post page.

   Are we talking about the same thing?

   GoDaddy insists it is a Wordpress problem. Does anybody else have any suggestions?
