   I set up my permalink structure like this:

   /%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%.html

   The permalinks for the individual posts work excellently. But when I click on the monthly archive links (e.g., January 2005), I get a 404 error. Here's a link to my site: [http://blog.journeytothesea.com/].

   Does anyone know what's going on?

   /%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%.html

   Why the .html ?

   That extension will break things ... try taking it off and redoing your permalinks ?

   Yes, replace the .html with a / . Do your permalinks exactly as directed, no variants.
