Hi guys,
I have been using the register plus plugin for a while now, and everything worked fine, except the verification emails were not being sent off.
I think i have identified the problem. The problem came in when i enabled the custom user and admin notification emails. As soon as i deactivated it, all the emails started coming through.
I hope this helps at least one person out there who is having the same problems.

THIS WORKED!! THANKS SO MUCH!!
Unfortunately, I needed that admin notification email to save the custom field info I had the new subscriber punch in.
Does this go into a database somewhere??

I can't seem to get the verification email to work with WP 2.7. I've tried enabling the custom user and admin notification emails. I've tried without. It's like something else is conflicting with or overwriting the register-plus plugins email option.

hi,
I was having same problem. There is nothing wrong with Wordpress scripts nor with Contact Form Plugin. Its all with your localhost setting in C-panel.
Its all due to MXentry setting problem in your website c-panel.
